Call for auditions: The Lion King dancers in SA
Disney is seeking strong male and female dancers with a modern/ballet dance background for the Broadway hit musical The Lion King.

The dancers must be in their late teens to early 30s. Male dancers are required to have strong acrobatic skills.
The auditions will be held in the following cities:
Johannesburg
- Venue: The Market Theatre Laboratory.
- Address: 138 Lillian Ngoyi Street, Newtwon, 2112.
- Date: 29 January.
Durban
- Venue: The Playhouse Company.
- Address: Mayville, 78 Ramsey Ave, Musgrave, Berea, 4001.
- Date: 2 February.
Cape Town
- Venue: University of Cape Town: Centre for Theatre, Dance and Performance.
- Address: Lower Campus, Woolsack Drive, UCT Lower Campus, Rosebank.
- Date: 7 February.
Registration
- Female dancers should be at the venue from 8am while their male counterparts should show up at 10.30am.
- All dancers must be prepared for possible recalls and be willing to wait.
- Dancers must be warmed up and ready to start on time.
- Dancers should bring dance clothes and flat shoes.
