Open call: FAME Week Africa 2026 registration
Registration has opened for the 2026 edition of FAME Week Africa, a business and networking event focused on Africa’s film, television, music, fashion and entertainment industries.
The event will take place in Cape Town, South Africa, from 28 October to 1 November.

FAME Week Africa will host several industry-focused events during the programme, including:
- MIP Africa: 28 – 30 October 2026
- Muziki Africa: 29 – 30 October 2026
- African Fashion Forum: 28 October 2026
- FAME Shorts Film Festival: 30 October – 1 November 2026
The event will be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).
According to the organisers, the platform is intended to facilitate networking, partnerships and business opportunities for professionals working across film, television, music, fashion, media and related sectors.
Organisers said pre-registration for attendees would provide early access to programme announcements, the event’s matchmaking platform and concierge services aimed at helping delegates arrange meetings in advance.
The event will feature content streams focused on:
- Music and fashion
- Film and television
- Animation
Conference delegates will have access to industry discussions, presentations and sessions led by professionals from the creative industries. A Platinum ticket option will also provide access to all sessions across MIP Africa and Muziki Africa.
Early bird attendee registration with diary access starts from ZAR2 180 (about $133), while conference delegate tickets without diary access start from ZAR1 210.
Organisers said the event is aimed at connecting creators, producers, distributors, financiers and commissioners operating within Africa’s screen and entertainment industries.
