ANALOGUE NITES to return to Joburg after a decade
A Johannesburg music event that was a prominent feature of the city's nightlife and cultural scene during the early 2010s is set to return after an absence of more than a decade.
Khuli Chana is among the artists who will perform at the ANALOGUE NITES reunion event in Johannesburg on 25 June.
ANALOGUE NITES will host a reunion event on 25 June, marking its first edition since 2015. The event is scheduled to take place at Untitled Basement in Braamfontein.
The platform gained recognition for its focus on curated music programming and for attracting audiences from Johannesburg's creative and music communities. During its original run, ANALOGUE NITES became known as a gathering point for music enthusiasts, artists and cultural figures.
Organisers say the reunion has been planned in response to continued interest from supporters who have called for the event's return in the years since it was last held.
The reunion line-up will feature several artists and DJs associated with the event's earlier editions, including Khuli Chana, Kabelo Mabalane, Greg Maloka, DJ Kenzhero, Thebe Lenyora, 5YF and Thee Gobbs.
According to organisers, the event is intended to celebrate the legacy of ANALOGUE NITES while introducing the experience to a new generation of attendees. The reunion is expected to attract both long-time supporters familiar with its earlier editions and younger audiences who know of the event through its reputation within Johannesburg's music culture.
The return of ANALOGUE NITES comes amid growing interest in nostalgia-driven live events and the revival of influential music brands from previous decades.
Tickets for the reunion event are available, with organisers encouraging attendees to secure admission in advance due to anticipated demand.
