Open call: 5th Petrichor International Music Competition
The 5th Petrichor International Music Competition has extended its submission deadline to 28 February, inviting performers, composers, and ensembles from around the world to participate.

The competition is open to all ages and nationalities.
Selected musicians will have the opportunity to release their music through Petrichor Records.
Competition categories and prizes:
- Solo performers under 16: $1 000
- Solo performers under 21: $2 000
- Solo performers over 21: $3 000
- Small ensembles: $3 000
- Large ensembles, orchestras and choirs: $4 000
- Composers under 21: $2 000
- Composers over 21: $3 000
- Electronic or multi-disciplinary: $2 000
- Film, video game and animation music: $2 000
- Arrangements: $2 000
- Improvisation: $2 000
- Best Album: $4 000
Submission requirements:
- Soloists, ensembles, and orchestras: Submit videos of performances.
- Composition, electronic music, improvisation, film music: Submit audio recordings or scores.
- Best Album: Submit full or partial tracks from an existing or upcoming album.
