Open call: Visa For Music 2026
Applications have opened for professionals interested in leading Forum activities at the 2026 edition of Visa For Music, scheduled to take place in Rabat, Morocco, from 18 to 21 November 2026.

Founded in 2014, Visa For Music is a music market and festival focused on Africa and the Middle East. The event was initiated by ANYA Culture, a Moroccan cultural engineering organisation, together with Atlas Azawan, an association that promotes culture and heritage.
The annual event brings together artists, music professionals, producers, programmers, media representatives and cultural institutions, with a focus on networking, collaboration and skills development within the music and cultural industries.
According to organisers, the Forum forms a central part of the professional programme and is designed to support discussion, learning and professional exchange within the music sector.
Forum formats
The 2026 Forum programme will include the following formats:
- Conferences
- Roundtable discussions lasting approximately 90 minutes
- Sessions include one moderator and up to five panellists
- Discussions focus on challenges, trends and developments in the music industry
- Masterclasses
- Educational sessions running between one and two hours
- Led by one or two specialists
- Intended to provide practical skills and industry knowledge for artists and professionals
- Workshops
- Interactive sessions lasting between two and three hours
- Focus areas include:
- Artistic career development
- Mastering
- Interactive music
- DJing
- Sound and lighting engineering
The call for proposals is open to professionals wishing to contribute expertise and participate in the Forum programme.
Participation conditions
Organisers stated that selected speakers will receive:
- Two nights’ accommodation in Rabat
- Airport-to-hotel transfers during festival dates
- Lunch and dinner on the day of the activity
However, participants will be responsible for:
- International transport costs, including flights and train tickets
- Visa-related expenses
The organisation also noted that participation is voluntary and that no speaker fees or remuneration will be provided.
