Call for applications: Artists and writers fellowship in the US
Princeton University in the US is calling on all artists and writers to apply for its Hodder Fellowship during the 2021 and 2022 academic year.
The fellowship is aimed at participants who would like to pursue independent projects that will take place at the Lewis Centre for the Arts in New Jersey.
Hodder Fellows will spend an academic year at the university with no formal teaching involved. An $84 000 stipend is provided for the 10-month appointment as a visiting fellow. Fellowships are not intended to fund work leading to an advanced degree.
"Given the strength of the applicant pool, most successful Fellows have published a first book or have similar achievements in their own fields; the Hodder is designed to provide Fellows with the 'studious leisure' to undertake significant new work," Princeton University says.
