Black Coffee Foundation announces Benefit Concert in Joburg
The Black Coffee Foundation will host a benefit concert at Melrose Arch in Johannesburg, South Africa on 29 November 2025, following its Music Conference & Exhibition scheduled for the previous day.
Black Coffee performing at the Africa Is Not A Jungle event in Durban.
The event will feature a dedicated Africa Is Not A Jungle stage, continuing the platform’s focus on African electronic music and creative innovation.
The concert is presented in partnership with Smirnoff Ice and Don Julio, and supported by Gauteng Tourism, Nando’s and Nivea. According to the organisers, the event forms part of the Foundation’s efforts to use music, culture and community to support social impact initiatives.
The line-up includes Black Coffee, who will headline the event, alongside a range of artists from across the electronic, dance and amapiano scenes. Performers include 2woBunnies, Asvnte, Breetz, Ciza, DJ Lag, DJ Merlon, Kabza De Small, Major League DJz, Tirhani and Uncle Waffles.
The organisers say the concert is designed as both an entertainment offering and a cultural showcase, featuring fashion, art and live performances. A Grade Africa pop-up will form part of the programme, highlighting contemporary African streetwear.
The Johannesburg event follows a sold-out Africa Is Not A Jungle edition in Durban, which attracted large crowds. Organisers say the response in Durban “set the tone” for expectations around production and artistic quality in Johannesburg.
