
Open call: Fair Play 2025 in South Africa
Fair Play, a global movement that empowers youth through powerful protest music, is inviting South African musicians to submit bold, original songs that confront corruption, inequality and injustice head-on.

The call is designed for musicians aged 18 and 35 from across South Africa. They should submit original songs or music videos that challenge corruption and speak to the lived realities of South Africans. The songs should tackle issues like state capture, inequality, broken systems or stolen futures.
Two artists or groups will be selected to perform their anti-corruption anthems live at the inaugural Ngeke! Festival on 6 December 2025 at Constitution Hill, Johannesburg — a site steeped in the spirit of resistance and justice.
