Création Africa launches to connect creatives across Africa and France
A new digital platform, Création Africa, has been launched by the French Institute to foster collaboration and growth within the cultural and creative industries (CCIs) across Africa and France.
- Création Africa aims to address long-standing barriers such as limited access to funding, international networks, and professional development opportunities.
Designed as a central hub for creative professionals, the initiative aims to address long-standing barriers such as limited access to funding, international networks, and professional development opportunities.
At a time when African creatives, ranging from musicians and producers to engineers, managers and event organisers, are reshaping global culture, many still face challenges in reaching international audiences and securing sustainable careers. Création Africa seeks to close this gap by offering practical support and community-building tools to artists and professionals at all stages of their careers.
The platform provides:
- Access to open calls, grants, and project support;
- A professional directory and creative networking space;
- A showcase feature for users to share work and gain visibility;
- Training resources and updates on important industry events.
By connecting creative communities across genres, languages and borders, Création Africa positions itself as a vital tool in building a more inclusive, accessible and sustainable creative ecosystem between Africa and France.
Pre-registration is now open here, with the full launch expected to attract professionals from across the continent and beyond.
