Call for applications: ITAC4 New York delegates
The organisers of the International Teaching Artist Conference (ITAC4) are calling on professionals in music, theatre, film, visual arts and dance disciplines who work in educational and community settings to apply for participation at the event.
The ITAC4 conference will be held in New York from 13 to 15 September 2018. The deadline for applications is 30 April. Click here to apply.
Guidelines
Part 1: Delegate application
Attendance at ITAC4 is limited in order to ensure a balanced delegation of artists from around the world and representation from a variety of roles and disciplines in the arts education industry. Applications are reviewed and processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Attendees will be allowed to submit payment and complete their registration upon email notification that the application has been approved.
Part 2: Financial assistance application (optional)
A limited number of full and partial financial assistance packages are available for artists from around the world to attend the conference. Financial assistance is intended to support artists and students working in the field of teaching artistry for whom the conference costs are a barrier to attending.
Financial assistance packages include:
- Full scholarships: All conference fees, four nights’ accommodation and a contribution towards travel of up to a maximum of $1 000.
- Partial scholarships: All conference fees and a contribution towards travel/accommodation of up to a maximum of $500.
Financial assistance criteria
To be eligible for a financial package, you must meet the following criteria:
- You would be unable to attend the conference without financial support.
- Participation in the conference will clearly contribute to your professional development.
- You work or study in the field of teaching artistry.
- You are not supported by an organisation.
Financial packages are non-transferable. Awardees who are unable to take up the supported package must relinquish it.
