Open call: Youth To The Front Fund

The 2026 edition focuses on “The Creatives”, highlighting artists and collectives who use storytelling, artistic expression and cultural practice to challenge injustice, strengthen communities and contribute to more equitable societies.

The initiative offers both financial support and access to a global network of collaborators, mentors and partners working across the arts, philanthropy and social justice sectors.

Funding

• Selected creatives and collectives may receive grants of up to $10 000.

• Funding can support exhibitions, programmes, research projects, or creative interventions addressing social issues.

• Recipients will also gain access to an international network of creative organisers and partners.

Eligibility

Applications are open to projects across a broad range of creative disciplines, including:

• Visual and material arts

• Performance and embodied practices

• Music and sound

• Writing and literary arts

• Film, media and cultural documentation

• Design, architecture and spatial practice

• Digital and creative technology

• Creative organising and cultural strategy

• Holistic healing, community spaces and sport

Focus areas

Projects should address at least one of the following themes:

• Arts and social justice

• Civics and community engagement

• Climate justice

• Education equity

The fund particularly encourages applications from creatives or collectives led by founders under the age of 30, especially those working with marginalised or underserved communities.
