Call for applications: International Forum for artists in Germany
Theatertreffen festival in cooperation with Goethe-Institut and Pro Helvetia is accepting applications for its International Forum scholarship programme. The programme will be part of the festival, which will take place between 1 and 17 May 2020 in Berlin, Germany.
International Forum is aimed at artists interested in theatre, up to the age of 35, and from all artistic disciplines. The festival is organised by Berliner Festspiele, a performing arts theater known as a platform for comprehensive theoretical and practical exchange.
“Around half the participants are artists from German-speaking countries, the other half comes from all parts of the world,” Berliner Festspiele says.
“The variety of ways in which the artists produce and perceive theatre in their respective working contexts will contribute to a broad spectrum of points of view. Engaging in forms of international cooperation is an essential element of this congregation of fellows.
