Said - worldmusic oasis

Said is one of the pioneers of the world music scene in Sweden. His store "Worldmusic Oasis" opened in the 90's, has been a rich source of music from all around the world for music fans from Sweden. His long experience allowed him later to become an active promotor who booked many renowned artists such as Tinariwen, Papa Wemba and many others to different venues in Sweden and Norway. Said also acts as music adviser, lecturer, dj and active on most world music events. He collaborates too with the biggest Swedish world music & jazz magazine – Lira by reportage.
