Amina Pullouh (often spelled Amina Pullouh), born Aminatou Bouba Naïmou, is a popular Cameroonian singer and dancer widely known by her title "La Reine du Sahel" (The Queen of the Sahel). 

Background and Career

  • Origin: She was born in Tibati, a town in the Adamawa Region of Cameroon.
  • Musical Style: Her music is deeply rooted in Fulani (Peul) culture and Sahelian rhythms, often performed in the Fulfulde language.
  • Key Works: She is best known for her hit song and music video "Memanam," which remains a significant track in northern Cameroonian music. Other popular tracks include "Douniya" and "Can Celebrate," the latter of which was released in anticipation of the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) held in Cameroon.
  • Public Presence: She has performed at major cultural events, such as the National Festival of Arts and Culture (FENAC) in 2016.
