Andile John Nkosi, born on 30 April 2000 in Tembisa and raised in Bronkhorstspruit, is an independent South African artist, producer, and creative visionary whose music is rooted in emotion, growth, and real-life experience. From a young age, Andile developed a deep connection with music, using it as a way to express the stories, struggles, and dreams that shaped his journey.

He attended Strauss Secondary School, where his passion for music continued to grow. In 2018, Andile began his music career by rapping on the streets, turning everyday moments into performances and building confidence through raw, authentic expression. During this time, he connected with like-minded creatives and later formed his first music collective, Jay Gang, a group driven by ambition and a shared love for hip-hop culture.

Determined to take his craft to the next level, Andile invested in his own studio equipment in 2022. Teaching himself the art of music production, he spent countless hours learning how to record, mix, and produce his own sound. What started as a personal mission quickly evolved into a professional skill set. Soon, he began recording other artists, producing beats, and collaborating with local producers on various projects.

As his experience grew, Andile refined his artistic direction and began focusing more deeply on the Soul and R&B sound—music built on feeling, storytelling, and rhythm that reflects the heartbeat of life itself. His work explores themes of pain, healing, love, and personal growth, creating songs that resonate with listeners on a deeper emotional level.

Today, Andile John Nkosi stands as a self-made artist and producer who has learned every step of the creative process independently. From writing and producing to recording and collaboration, he continues to shape his own path in music—driven by authenticity, passion, and the desire to turn life experiences into timeless sound.
