What is the cost to attend ACCES?

The 2026 ACCES price policy is as follows:

AFRICAN DELEGATES

  • Conference (conference sessions, workshops, exhibitions, and networking): registration is FREE for all African delegates.
  • Showcase festival: tickets for the Showcase Festival are sold separately (check the ACCES home page for more information).

INTERNATIONAL DELEGATES

  • All-access pass: $100

Registering for the conference automatically allocates a showcase festival ticket and provide an all-access pass (conference and festival). 

I am an expat living in Africa and only want to attend evening performances. What ticket should I get?

Anyone can buy tickets to attend the showcase festival: check the ACCES home page for more information.

How does ACCES differentiate between African and Non African delegates?

African delegates are all legally recognized citizens or nationals of an African state, either native or naturalized.

Are there any opportunities for me to perform?

Yes, every year ACCES provides showcasing opportunities to emerging African artists. The call typically opens in the first quarter of the year. Check the ACCES website for more information.

How can I book for an exhibition space?

Throughout the event, ACCES provides an exhibition hub, where local and international delegates connect and feature their products and services. You can also take advantage of the pitch sessions, which give you an opportunity to present your products and services in front of an audience. Check out the registrations page or send an enquiry e-mail to claire@musicinafrica.net.

Where do I find the ACCES programme?

The programme is published on the ACCES website, usually in September. Also make sure to subscribe to our newsletter for updates.

Where do I pick up my ACCES pass, badges etc.?

There will be a registration desk at ACCES conference venue, where all registered delegates will receive their pass and other materials for use at the event against their unique PIN code (provided with the registration confirmation email).

Where is ACCES happening in the coming years?

The next conference will take place Johannesburg, South Africa, from 12 to 14 November 2026.

Will there be shuttles to get delegates to various venues?

Shuttles will be provided between the conference venues and partnering hotels.

Will I be able to attend the conference if I have not registered?

No. All delegates should register and reserve their seat to attend the conference. Only registered persons will receive the ACCES pass, on a first come first served basis.

When should I register?

We encourage all delegates to register as soon as possible as registrations open. We also advise that you subscribe to our newsletter for future updates.
