ACCES is free for Africans, what is the fee for non-Africans?

The fee is $100.

Are there any opportunities for me to perform?

Yes, every year ACCES provides showcasing opportunities to emerging African artists. Please check out the 2020 call for showcases HERE. Deadline for applications is on 30 April 2020. 

Are there other activities related to ACCES that I need to look out for before the conference?

Please look out for the online ACCES programme and subscribe to our monthly newsletter for updates on all the showcases, exhibitions, workshops and press conferences related to ACCES 2020. For more information, please send an e-mail to claire@musicinafrica.net and we will respond to you promptly.

Do I still need to register if I am African?

Yes. All attending delegates must register online.

How can I book for an exhibition space?

Exhibition stands are available (2020 fee to be confirmed). You can also take advantage of our unique pitch sessions, which give you an opportunity to present your products and services in front of an audience. Please send an enquiry e-mail to projects@musicinafrica.net

How can I contact the ACCES organizers?

How do I find out who is speaking and performing at ACCES 2020?

The programme will be published on the ACCES website. Also make sure to subscribe to our newsletter for updates.

How do I get a confirmation letter for visa purposes

The confirmation email that you receive when you register may also be used for visa purposes. However, should you require specific support please send an e-mail to Claire@musicinafrica.net

How do I know that my registration has been accepted?

Delegates whose registrations have been accepted will be notified via e-mail.

I want to speak at ACCES how do I do it?

In general the organising team reaches out to speakers who meet the edition’s focus areas. However, you are welcome to drop us an email if you feel you have a highly valuable contribution that can’t be missed. Please send a detailed request via e-mail to claire@musicinafrica.net

What are the official languages and will there be real time translation?

The ACCES programme is implemented in English. 

What is the best way to book for accommodation in the host city?

When registrations open we provide a list of our partner hotels. Please check our info page here for more details.

When should I register?

Registrations for 2020 are now open.

Where do I pick up my ACCES pass, badges etc.?

There will be an on-site registration desk where all registered delegates will receive their ACCES pass and other materials for use at the event against their unique PIN code (provided with the registratino confirmation email). 

Where is ACCES happening in the coming years?

ACCES 2020 will take place in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Who selects the ACCES performers?

The ACCES Curation Committee selects performers.

Will I be able to attend ACCES if I have not registered?

All delegates should register and reserve their seat. Only registered persons will receive the ACCES pass.

Will there be shuttles to get delegates to various venues?

Yes. Please refer to registration confirmation document for specific details.
