Martin would travel back & forth to Africa, or England to get new records, cassettes, or CDs that weren't out or available in the U.S. Daniel really wanted to collaborate with his co-mentor when he began his solo career but unfortunately never happened due to the disease and illness that took the life of Martin Williams on the first week of New Years Day in 2012 who is an Legend of Sierra Leone Music Community in Atlanta. Daniel was blindsided by the accident but never took it deep within him and decided to use his knowledge and sense into music.
