Stories to Heal

Stories to Heal is a transformative live performance concept led by Bagamoyo-based artist naitwa.evodius, blending live-looped guitar, poetic storytelling, and original compositions that cross genres of Reggae, Afrofusion, Blues, and traditional Tanzanian sounds. The project began as a response to a personal calling to use music as a way of holding space for healing—individual and collective.

Each performance is deeply intentional, featuring songs written in both Swahili and English that speak of inner wounds, family histories, broken systems, ancestral wisdom, and emotional restoration. naitwa.evodius brings his signature sound—marked by layered loops, spiritual melodies, and engaging narrative flow—into an intimate setting that allows audiences not just to listen, but to feel.

Since its start, Stories to Heal has been performed in intimate venues, offering a warm and grounded atmosphere where food, drinks, and stories become medicine. It’s an invitation to breathe, remember, and be restored—together.
