Siselabonga

Swiss-South African-Zimbabwean duo Siselabonga — singer-songwriter Nongoma Ndlovu and percussionist Fabio Meier — released their new album Halo’s Glitter on 3 October 2025. The band name blends French ("si c’est bon" – that’s good) and isiZulu ("siyabonga" – thank you), reflecting their transcultural roots.

Their self-coined genre Afro Soul Tronic fuses diasporic Afro influences, soulful depth, and electronic textures. The music is vibrant, sensual, and body moving. Themes of interhuman connections, spirituality, and accountability thread through the album, touching on paternal authority, emotional security, sexuality, and spiritual journeys.

Nongoma’s rich, soulful voice and Fabio’s eccentric groove meet guest artists Josh Meck (bass), Yannik Sandhofer (mix & co-production), Modise Sekgothe (poetry) and Joe Hutchinson (mastering). The album was released on all platforms, with a 300-copy limited vinyl via the boutique label A Tree In A Field Records.

"Halo's Glitter" had national and international media resonance.
