SA: Kelvin Momo, Mörda and Calvin Fallo to headline Outside Already event
South African cultural platform Outside Already has announced its line-up for a national event scheduled to take place on 8 August at 012 Central in Pretoria.
Kelvin Momo.
The gathering will be headlined by DJs and producers Kelvin Momo, Mörda and Calvin Fallo, alongside performances from Snow Deep, Pcee, Thuli P, Char4prezzy and Count Lupa. Organisers say the programme will combine live music with discussions on culture, identity and leadership.
A co-founder of Outside Already said the platform is intended to reflect broader cultural shifts rather than operate as a conventional entertainment event.
“Outside Already is not just a moment; it is a reflection of where culture is going. We are intentional about creating spaces that feel authentic to this generation, where identity, creativity and legacy intersect in ways that are both relevant and forward-looking,” the co-founder said.
The event will also feature keynote input from Tlangi Michelle, Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) for Roads and Transport in the City of Tshwane, highlighting a civic and governance dimension to the programme.
Organisers said the gathering will be amplified by BasePulse on DStv Channel 322, which will serve as the official media and broadcast partner. Further additions to the line-up are expected to be announced.
Outside Already is positioning the event as a broader cultural meeting point for artists, entrepreneurs, and industry stakeholders. Attendees are expected to include creators and cultural figures from across South Africa, with the programme also incorporating dialogue sessions alongside performances.
The event is scheduled for the eve of National Women’s Day on 9 August, with organisers indicating that part of the programme will focus on women-led conversations and a dedicated stage for emerging female artists.
According to organisers, the initiative has been developed in consultation with the City of Tshwane and supported by the Tshwane Metropolitan Police Department as part of efforts to ensure large-scale event coordination and safety.
Outside Already was launched following an exclusive private dinner at Marble Restaurant, attended by figures from across South Africa’s cultural and business sectors, including Ndaba Mandela, Olwethu Leshabane and Muriel Mamoepa.
Organisers say the platform is intended to combine cultural relevance with commercial sustainability, positioning itself as a long-term fixture in South Africa’s creative landscape.
