Register for MOCA 2021 hybrid event in France
Music industry professionals can now register for the 2021 edition of Movement of Creatives Africa (MOCA), which will take place in Paris, France, between 17 and 18 June.
The two-day event will take a hybrid format where cultural creators, professionals and entrepreneurs will meet physically at Hôtel de Ville and virtually on the MOCA platform to network and discuss the challenges, opportunities and innovations present in the cultural and creative industries (CCIs) worldwide.
By registering, delegates will receive access to the complete MOCA programme, including:
- MOCA Forum: A platform to question the vision of the world of creators and entrepreneurs in a context of change marked by the increase of exchanges and the growing impact of digital technologies. Some of the programmed speakers include Haby Niakaté, Valérie Gilles, Layani Basseg and Olivier Enogo. More information about the speakers is available here.
- MOCA Talent Award: This session seeks to showcase Afro-contemporary creativity and highlight projects that have been in existence for less than 30 years with a strong cultural, social and environmental impact.
- MOCA Lab: Under the artistic direction of Blick Bassy, this session allows the public to experience a live stream of an original creative session combining music, dance and visual arts.
- MOCA Market: This is a space for meetings and exploration of opportunities in promising CCI countries, including Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Rwanda, Ivory Coast and Cameroon. It is an ideal time to network, imagine new collaborations and identify new markets.
