Call for applications: Online concerts for Egyptian music platform

This call targets emerging musicians in Egypt and seeks to discover new bands to support them to create high-quality works as well as to promote, market and showcase their content to a broader audience.

There is no age limit for the participants.

Eligibility

Applicants can include:

• Modern and emerging bands unable to package and present their musical works professionally.
• Female singers and their bands that lack the opportunity to present their work to the public.

Selected applicants will receive the following:

• An opportunity to perform in a live virtual concert on the platform.
• A professionally filmed video of their performance. 
• Marketing of the recorded audio materials through various digital platforms such as Spotify, Anghami and Deezer.
• Technical support by specialists such as academics and music producers in Egypt and abroad.
• An opportunity to attend workshops and advisory sessions with renowned local and international musicians tutoring in music production and marketing strategies.

Requirements 

• Original artistic material that can be performed live (maximum 30 minutes).
• The team must have an administrative manager.
• Hi-res photos of the band.

Note:

• The number of team members should not exceed five people.
• The platform welcomes bands that present new, unexpected and daring musical ideas.
