Emmanuel Hakizimana, born in 2001 in the Democratic Republic of Congo and raised in Uganda, is a rising star in the Afro music scene. Now based in the Netherlands, he is known by his stage names SL Gift or Young Chui—a talented artist blending Afro, rap, and Amapiano vibes to create a fresh, global sound
SL Gift broke into the spotlight with his hit single “Dance for Me,” earning attention for his catchy beats, energetic rhythms, and authentic storytelling. His music speaks to his journey, his roots, and his dreams.
Beyond the music, Emmanuel is a proud family man. He met his wife Deborah Maniriho (Matilda) in 2015, and after years of friendship and growth, they officially started dating in 2023.
