Sandra Blak

Born in Pretoria, South Africa, Sandra Blak is a Namibian female singer based in Ukraine. She moved to Windhoek at an early age and joined every school choir from all the five schools she attended. Sandra became friends with Mushe (now a renowned musician) who encouraged her to nurture her talent. Her relationship with Mushe prompted her to record four songs, namely ‘Dance Mood’, ‘I’m Fly’ featuring Tim J, ‘Music’ and ‘New Day’ featuring Sanmation X.

In October 2014, she released another single, ‘Towelele’ (making noise) on YouTube. The dancehall-influenced Afro-pop song was produced by a Namibian producer called Andrew. Her debut music video was for the song ‘Dance Mood’. Sandra’s music is a fusion of rave, techno, Afro-pop and RnB. In 2013 she won a NAMA in the Best Non-Album Single category. Apart from music, Sandra is studying medicine in Ukraine.
