Ndu Browns is a South African singer, songwriter, and performer best known as one half of the award-winning Afro-pop duo Blaq Diamond. Born Ndumiso Mdletshe, he is widely recognized for his distinctive vocals, emotional delivery, and strong songwriting skills.
He rose to prominence alongside his musical partner with the release of breakthrough hits that blended Afro-pop and Afro-soul influences, performed in languages such as Zulu and Xhosa. Their 2019 hit “Ibhanoyi” became a national success and earned major recognition, including Record of the Year at the South African Music Awards.
As an artist, Ndu Browns is celebrated for his authenticity, storytelling ability, and commitment to representing his cultural roots through music.
