Blaq Diamond

Blaq Diamond is a multi-award-winning South African Afro-pop duo from Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal, consisting of Ndumiso Mdletshe known as Ndu Browns and Siphelele Dunywa, popularly known as Danya Devs. The pair met in 2010 during a school trip, where their shared passion for music laid the foundation for what would become one of South Africa’s most influential contemporary music acts. What began as a friendship quickly developed into a creative partnership rooted in storytelling, cultural pride, and authentic African sound.

Their music blends Afro-pop, Afro-soul, and traditional influences, often delivered in Zulu and Xhosa, creating a distinctive sound that resonates across diverse audiences.
