Miss Jojo

Born on 30 June 1982, Miss Jojo, real name Josiane Uwineza is a famous RnB artist from Kigali, Rwanda. Her music career began when she was six years old. Her songs include ‘Mbwira’, ‘Tukabyine’, ‘Haguruka’, ‘Nganirira’, ‘Beltrida’ and ‘Siwezi’. She has also performed on the same stage with world renowned artists such as Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Shaggy and Sean Paul.

Besides music, Miss Jojo is a graduate from Rwanda National University; she holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature.

She has been for many years working with Imbuto Foundation a nonprofit organisation that was founded by the first lady. The organisation specifically helps girls in the Country. She is also an adult adviser at Isaro Foundation alongside Masamba Intore. In March 2016 Jojo released a new single 'Nganirira' (Speak to Me).
