Iciko elihle

 Iciko Elihle (born Nkosiyabo Nomzaza) is an artist maskandi artist from South Africa. 

Born and raised in KwaMzongwana, Iciko developed a profound love for music at a young age, drawing inspiration from the rich cultural heritage and storytelling traditions of his community.

Since embarking on his musical journey in 2024, Iciko Elihle has quickly made a name for himself with his debut EP, Omashonisa, featuring Zomlando. His music resonates deeply with audiences, reflecting the struggles, joys, and everyday experiences of life in his hometown, all woven into the intricate rhythms and melodies characteristic of maskandi. 

With a commitment to honing his craft, Iciko has been actively performing at local events, captivating audiences with his authentic sound and dynamic stage presence. His unique approach to maskandi not only honours its roots but also seeks to elevate the genre, blending traditional elements with fresh, contemporary influences.
