Eko FM


The old Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation produced Eko FM in 1977. Initially operating under two AM frequencies, Eko FM moved to the FM band (107.5 FM). And in 2001, came under the wings of the Lagos State Radio Service. Its programmes are transmitted in Yoruba, the predominant language of South-west Nigeria and it has a reach of roughly 5 states. A sister station, Eko 89.75 FM was established in 1997 and transmits in English with a coverage of about eight states.
