Since their formation in 2014, Vera and the Husbands have emerged as one of Zimbabwe’s most compelling live acts, captivating audiences with a vibrant fusion of funky jazz, Afro-pop, and neo-soul. Known for their magnetic stage presence and emotionally rich performances, the band has lit up major platforms including HIFA and the Zimbabwe International Jazz Festival, while also carrying their sound across borders to Germany, Poland, and Botswana.
With a stripped-down, minimalist setup, Vera and the Husbands create a sound that is both intimate and electrifying.
