Spiro Beats

Spiro Beats (born Clinton Senzo Mbatha in Hazyview, Mpumalanga) is a South African award-winning record producer, mixing engineer and record executive.

Spiro Beats's passion for music began at an early age, when he started investing his time in making beats. He made his first beat at a tender age of 12.

Spiro Beats took a step and began producing and recording other young artists in his neighborhood as well as artists from outside countries which assisted in perfecting his skill as a multi-genre record producer and mixing engineer. After completing matric he relocated to Gauteng to further his studies and studied Sound engineering and music business. There is no doubt music is his calling Spiro Beats is a true living legend in the making, endowed with amazing ear for music and production skills.

Spiro Beats has proved to be a force to be reckoned with and has worked with other upcoming artists as well as established award-winning international artists from South Africa and outside the country, Spiro Beats has been featured in various magazines and newspapers such as Daily Sun, Sowetan, and IOL (independent Online) and Mpumalanga News. Spiro Beats got to be part of the biggest hip hop annual event on the continent The Back To City Festival's Play 10K Challenge Top 8 Producers.

Songs produced and engineered received airplay from popular radio stations from South Africa and radio stations outside the country as well, and received positive reception from fans and interviewed various times by radio stations. Spiro Beats is jack of all trades because he writes, produces and composes, mixes and he's also an entrepreneur as he founded his own record and publishing company 'Preme Audio' and has worked with Mzansi Magic's popular telenovela such as Isibaya and isithembiso.

Spiro Beats believes that he has a good ear for talent. he sees himself branching into executive and A&R department in future, he reckons that being a record executive and A&R would also be a great step for him to fulfill his other passion which is to give back to the community by empowering and giving the opportunity to other producers and songwriters and engineers who would normally not be discovered as they don't have scouts coming to their areas often enough.
