"Shawdy Nade, born Rachel Nyaama, is a talented musician hailing from Zamdela, Free State Province. With a passion for music ignited at a young age, she drew inspiration from icons like the late HHP ,Prokid , ProVerb , and Khuli Chana. Shawdy Nade's music career commenced in 2017 at Trap Monk Records, where her debut single "FLEX" garnered significant attention in Zamdela's music scene. She has had the opportunity to collaborate with esteemed producers, including Cold-blooded Beats and the late Master C. Her work has also been featured on KARABO FM, a local radio station in Zamdela. Shawdy Nade has performed at notable venues such as Stone Bar Vereeniging and Golden Ash Park. After a brief hiatus, she relocated to Johannesburg North, specifically Alexandra, a vibrant hub for musicians that reignited her passion for music. The city's thriving music scene and successful artists motivated her to pursue her dreams, reminding her to always follow her passion.
Shawdy Nade was one of the selected top 20 songwriters/rappers to be part of a 10 days Hip Hop Summit 2025 held at Hip Hop Museum in Newtown Johannesburg.
