Hlavutelo Ngwana, professionally known as Sgijapreneur, is a South African recording artist and producer rising within the Amapiano and Sgija music scenes.
Early Life and Background
Origins: Born in November 2008, Ngwana is of Tswana and Tsonga heritage and originates from Meadowlands, Soweto, Johannesburg.
Early Influences: He grew up in a household where his parents and grandparents were avid listeners of Kwaito, which laid the foundation for his musical interest.
Musical Career
Beginnings: His passion for music started at a young age, leading him to begin producing and making music at 15. He officially launched his career at 16 with his first releases in September 2025.
Milestones
His Talent has led to him being a Co-Owner of Previously Ndofaya Records Ltd which has been rebranded to Ndofaya x SgijaPRN Records Ltd which has fully embedded him in the music industry.
Genre & Style
While initially influenced by Gqom, his primary focus shifted to Amapiano, specifically the subgenres Sgija and Sgidongo. His stage name, "Sgijapreneur," reflects this dedication to the Sgija sound.
