Scott Msizi

Scott Msizi, born Sivuyile Scott on the 4th of January 1993 in the small farm in Tsitsikama. A singer, songwriter, composer, drummer and music director who honed his music talent at a very young age when he sang in school and church choirs. Scott has studied music for a Diploma in Music through the Nelson Mandela University where he also sang and composed music for NMU Choir during his time as the student. He has also composed and directed music for a variety of choirs and organisations namely, the Eastern Cape Youth Choir, Masifunde Youth Choir, Drankensburg Boys Choir, Westering High, Zolani Youth Choir and the Sonwa Sakuba Institute for the Performing Arts. His musical journey journey has taken him abroad to places like Germany, Russia and China.

Scott has also worked with renowned artists such Titi Luzipo, Ntsika, Joliza, Dumza Maswana, Edgar Muzah and Mthokozisi Mabuza. He has performed in different roles in notable events like the National Arts Festival in Makhanda, Mandela Bay Arts Festival, Splash Festival and Ebubeleni Music Festival.

Scott Msizi's plans for 2025 is to go to the studio and record music that he can share with his fans.
