Bio
The Rudimentals is a Reggae/Dancehall/Dub and fusion outfit, based in the creative hub of Cape Town, South Africa. The Rudimentals’ front-line features 3 of the most highly skilled and electrifying performers in the local industry today.
The band is fronted by 3 artists: Zimbabwean musical legend King Labash, winner of Zimbabwean Best dancehall video awards 2016; Whosane Pangaea, from Brooklyn, NYC, a U.S.A born rapper, businessman, and emerging media personality; and Jamaican-born star, Khaos Cotterell, who also happens to be an international fashion model for the likes of Hugo Boss and Armani.
The legendary status of The Rudimentals has been earned from over 20 years of positive contributions to the local music industry, and they have performed at every major music festival in SA and played with the likes of UB40, The Wailers, Freshly Ground, Bowling for Soup, and more. The band has enjoyed popular success with singles like Sound Boy Killa, We Are One, and Bubbling.
