Mtypa

Mtypa (born Thapelo Micheck Tango on 20 August 1996) is an upcoming Amapiano artist/Disc Jockey originally from Tembisa, South Africa.

In 2014 Mtypa was part of the group called Regination. In 2016 he ventured on a solo career and released hits like 'Something to Jam'.

In 2017 Mtypa’s song 'YNS' was the most played track in his home town. This landed him a lot of performances during that year.

He then moved on to venture other music genres such as House Music (AmaPiano) producer in which He got a feature from one the Biggest AmaPiano Deejay 'Basil Soul n Shades' in a Track titled Alex to Tembisa which features Jazzmiqdeep, Phami and Tebza the Guitarist in Basil's album Qamatha.

He also collaborated with artists like 'JazzmiqDeep', 'Phami' 'Tam-Tam', 'T-Leeroi' and 'Wing BRM'.

Mtypa is also know for his super 'Dope' visuals which he happens to capture from time to time in Events he is booked.
