Mitirikpwe Patricia

Mitirikpwe Patricia is a contemporary R&B, Afro-Soul singer from Gulu, Northern Uganda who writes in her mother tongue, Acholi and English. She started to sing professionally during the pandemic in Gulu and returned to Kampala in 2021 when schools reopened. Here, she joined the Kampala based Musician Collective, Cajon Music House. This is where her solo music career began. 

Patricia has spent the last 3 years discovering her voice as a songwriter and recording her self titled E.P, Mitirikpwe!, slated for release through 2024. Her first single, released across all platforms on January 12th, 2024. 

She has performed at Sofar Kampala, The Music House Live at National Theatre, Livescape Ug and sings acoustic cover and original music sets at select bars around kampala.

Patricia is inspired by Simi, Asa, Erykah Badu and duo, Radio & Weasal. She is passionate about music education, loves to paint, read and attend live music shows around Kampala in her free time.
