The single dominated the Vhembe region and put the industry on notice. His commanding presence and vocal talent soon earned him a coveted top 10 spot at the Tshwane Music Conference, where he stood out among 300 competitors to secure a three year record deal with Uhuru Music.
The Hulisani Dynasty (2020 to 2023)
Following a brief hiatus, Lutroo made a triumphant and highly anticipated return to the spotlight in 2020. Reclaiming his space with the beautiful, soul stirring track "Tshifasekano," he launched into an era of incredible consistency. This period was defined by his critically acclaimed, eponymous project run: Hulisani (2020), Hulisani II (2021), Hulisani III (2022), and the Hu Si Kale EP (2023), cementing his status as a prolific creator.
