Lil Trenchy
Bio
Akande Yusuf Ayinde (born in April 28, 2005 Isolo, Oshodi, Lagos, Nigeria), known professionally as Lil Trenchy, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter, and creative entrepreneur. Emerging from the streets of Sango Otta, Ogun State, Lil Trenchy is recognized for his emotionally charged lyricism, melodic flows, and unfiltered storytelling rooted in struggle, betrayal, trauma, survival, and inner conflict. His music places lived experience at the center, positioning him as one of the most raw and authentic voices in Nigeria’s evolving hip-hop and melodic drill landscape.
Lil Trenchy rose to prominence through underground releases such as “Night Cold,” “Unwritten Prophecies,” “No Love Zone,” and “Heartless From Trenches,” records that resonated deeply with listeners who recognized their own pain, isolation, and resilience in his words. Rather than chasing trends or industry approval, his artistry is grounded in emotional truth and narrative realism, drawing attention for its vulnerability and psychological depth.
Beyond music, Lil Trenchy is the founder of DGR Music Group,an independent creative company and music distribution platform designed to empower artists through ownership, transparency, and strategic development. He is also connected to DGR Novels, a narrative and literary extension that translates emotional themes from music into written storytelling. Together, these entities reflect a broader creative vision rooted in independence, ethics, and long-term cultural impact.
