Cornelius Mpesi
Bio
Cornelius Mpesi is a poet from Malawi.
Cornelius started writing poetry in 2009. what started as a tryout ended up becoming a tool that he now uses to
preach the gospel of Christ. Cornelius has been involved in numerous stage performances from church events to public shows, last year (2019) he shared the stage with one of the renown spoken word artists, Joseph Solomon.
Cornelius is also a member of Class Twenty6, which is a group of poets with the aim of spreading the
gospel through art. Some of his influences are Q Malewezi (Malawi), Blair Linne, Ezekiel Azonwu, Janette...ikz, Chris Webb and Jose Palos. Cornelius recently released his two singles, entitled 'Amazing' and 'Leap'.
