With a background in a creative agency; in late 2022, Chida made a deliberate pivot into Kenya's creative and entertainment industry — a transition he describes with pride and zero regret. That move brought him into proximity with some of the country's most significant creative voices, and he has since become a trusted operator behind some of the industry's most talked-about moments.
‎Among his most notable professional relationships is his work with  Cedo, one of Kenya's foremost music producers, music director, event director; for whom Chida manages industry connections and regional networks — bridging talent, opportunity, and strategic partnerships across East Africa. Together, Chida and Cedo conceptualised ZIDI, a producer-led music and experiential events platform that is redefining how music production culture is experienced live in East Africa.
