Her journey into music began at the age of nine when a music teacher discovered her talent during a primary school music exam. From that moment, Chayuta convinced her mother to allow her to pursue her passion — and she has never looked back.
Although her musical vision has evolved over the years — beginning as a classical music student before discovering R&B, Afrobeats and Amapiano — Chayuta has now developed her own distinctive sound in Afro R&B. What has remained constant throughout her journey is her passion for music and her ambition to become a global icon.
Chayuta believes that her exposure to different countries and cultures from a young age has helped shape a sound that transcends borders. While she enjoys performing on any stage, her favorite performances are with a live band, and she has had the opportunity to work with many of the most established bands in Ghana. Known for her dedication to perfecting her vocals and stagecraft, audiences know that whenever Chayuta takes the stage, they can expect an unforgettable performance.

Her passion for music runs so deep that at the age of 14 she convinced her mother to build a recording and rehearsal studio in their garage. When in Ghana, Chayuta records most of her music in her own studio and has had the privilege of working with respected producers and artists including Mix Master Garzy, Jupitar, Kelvyn Boy, Edem, and D'wayne Wiggins of the Grammy Award-winning R&B group Tony! Toni! Toné!.
