Siyabonga Cebekhulu, professionally known as Bhubesi Simba, is a South African conscious artist whose music blends Rastafari spirituality with contemporary South African hip-hop. Known as “The Voice of Roots & Consciousness”, he is an emerging force within South Africa’s conscious music scene, redefining the sound of coastal KwaZulu-Natal through spiritually driven storytelling and culturally rooted expression.
Born and raised in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, Bhubesi Simba is more than a musician — he is a messenger of truth, culture and spiritual awareness. His music serves as a sonic journey, fusing traditional African rhythms, kasi storytelling and Rastafari consciousness into a sound that is both reflective and rhythmically powerful.
