ABLE GEE

ABLE GEE is a young South African multi genre singer, producer and songwriter mostly renowned as an Afro-fusion electro singer whose based in multiple genres & African languages too. Born and bred artist, in a township in the Vaal, Sebokeng. A place where most South African well-known creatives, media personalities, artists and actors were born.

ABLE GEE is a self taught singer, producer and songwriter in multiple African languages. He embarked on his musical calling since a tender age of 8 years old and he has a family background of musicians and creatives who also were into the entertainment world.

Growing up where tv, music and radio was on 24 hrs , He'd also imitate celebs and he'd sing, act, dance, write and teach his cousins and friends to do the same art.

As he was still in primary he had an opportunity to play a leading role in acting as prince Charles on Cinderella playstory which gave him knowledge about acting and performing in live theaters and also singing for the school choir, gumboots and contemporary dancing were giving more influence into other dance genres.

By the time ABLE GEE was in secondary he met other artists and formed a hip hop crew named the Gang-Lawz.
He was the youngest and still in school while venturing the musical journey they organized  their own events, radio stations interviews and produced also sell their own music physically. That really gave ABLE GEE a lot of experience about the background of the music business at a younger age and his crew released mixtapes sold them physically with other merchandises to promote the brand, collaborated with various artists and producers across the country.

ABLE GEE has worked with artists and producers such as Golden shovel from optical illusion group, Menzi from H20 Duo, Ben shapa, D mongz, Ramkae, Maths, Nature Soul, Thakzin, K sugah, Dj Noah to name a few.

Gigs/Performances:

ABLE GEE appeared on the South African idols singing competition in 2013 and managed to keep up till the Sandton conversion center 2nd auditions. Which many didn't make so far and it was his first ever audition.

Toured and traveled promoting, after dropping a few single tracks and a music video which he featured Ramkae and Nature soul, getting invites from different event promoters in Soweto, Daveyton, Vutha events, Midrand popular clubs and Joburg, Tembisa and Pretoria to name a  few.

Sharing the stage alongside artists such as Zuluboy, Prokid, 985 crew, SkwattaKamp group, H20, Fifi cooper, Ab crazy, KO, Mlindo the vocalist, Kwesta, Dr Malinga, Busiswa, Deep Soweto, kid x, to name a few.

Mostly performs solo live on instruments as he embarked on a soloist journey, some producers from the United States of America send him beats as they've discovered and love his work.
