Abigail Chams
Bio
Abigail Chams is a Tanzanian artist signed to Sony Music Entertainment Africa in June 2022.
The singer, who started learning piano when she was five and mastered the violin by eight, is also an outstanding guitarist, drummer and flautist.
She has collaborated with top Tanzanian stars like Rayvanny, Darassa and Rosa Ree. She has also worked with foreign artists such as James Nee (Malawi), Jimmy D Psalmist (Nigeria) and Jekalyn Carr (US).
In 2020, UNICEF selected her to be a youth advocate on mental health and gender equality in Tanzania. She won the Outstanding Youth in Entertainment Award at the 2021 Tanzania Emerging Youth Awards.
