60 Hertz Project

60 Hertz Project is a live band of musical production team formed in June 2009 from Ga-Rankuwa, South Africa, Pretoria. The project’s musical focus is on Jazzy House, Deep, Broken Beats, Lounge, Afro and Soulful House. The team consists of a fusion of musicians and producers.

60 Hertz Project has showcased at major platforms including the KZN Music Imbizo 2018, Ekurhuleni Music Festival, North West Jazz Festival, corporate events, year end functions, and private weddings. Their music has received national and international airplay on Metro FM, Motsweding FM, Lesedi FM, Vuzu TV, Channel O, and Deeper Shades of House.

The band has collaborated with global artists such as Dolls Combers and FastVisionSoul, releasing standout projects like Mother Earth Calls Italy EP and the #1 top chartting hits "Capricorn EP" which was remixed by Essential I, Ralf GUM, and QB Smith and "Tapta Beach EP" which was remixed by Manoo and Trancemicsoul, featured on compilations by DJ Christos and Ralf GUM.

Their catalogue includes albums, EPs, singles, and remixes released through respected labels across the USA, UK, Germany, Italy, Brazil, and South Africa. In 2025, 60 Hertz Project was featured on the Traxsource Top 100 Broken Beats/NuJazz chart with three tracks: Jazz In Jupiter, Summer Days, and Broken Souls

Their upcoming vinyl release, Music Hands EP, will be issued by Russian label Lacquer Pizza and features four powerful jazzy house tracks.
