Noble MC (aka Noble Phenomenal)

Bio

Noble MC is a young rapper from the Ivory Coast. He began rapping at the age of 14 years and soon started to be respected in the underground in Ivory Coast. From 2010 he emerged at the age of 23 after several years of isolation and began to make known his phenomenal freestyle skills on local hip-hop radio shows.

He soon gained the attention of Chicago producer Coolout Chris of Urbanized Music at a meeting organized by the US Embassy in Ivory Coast. Coolout Chris then worked on an EP called 'Noble Phenomenal' on May 3, 2011 (free download on www.urbanizedmusic.com). Noble MC's single 'Hip-Hop Forever' featured on the soundtrack for the movie 'Keep It Moving', a documentary about three hip-hop artists from Chicago (Coolout, Amina and Ang13) who travel to Cote d’Ivoire as Cultural Envoys for the US State Dept (www.keepitmovingthemovie.info). During the last visit and workshop in Abidjan, Noble MC and producer Coolout Chris formed a bond and continued their work of cultural exchange. 'Hip-Hop Forever' is the first song they collaborated on by exchanging files over the internet.

On 22 February he released his album named 'Straight Outta Yopougon', a 9-track collection of songs featuring lyrical heavyweight Verbal Kent, Urbanized Music's dynamic duo Amina & Coolout Chris (who also produced), and a remix from North Carolina native KiofNC. Noble is currently prepping his new album, 'Zoumi World'.
