Leon Hlabathi

Hitekani Leon Hlabathi is a South African rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. Hlabathi originates from Tzaneen in the Limpopo Province but moved to Chavani, a small village in Limpopo, at a young age. He started writing music, making covers and remixes of popular songs in Primary School with a couple of friends. He later on mastered the process of music production and started producing Hip-Hop and R&B beats.

In 2017, Leon Hlabathi released "Watch It", a song off his debut Extended Play "One Time". The song was well taken by the audience. Later on, Leon Hlabathi released a single titled "Strive" which gained over 1,000 plays within 48 hours on Spotify. On the 5th of October 2018, Leon Hlabathi released an R&B single titled "Be My Guest" which features his frequent collaboraters, Lester Matthews and Manotry.
