Bio

Cello Culture, (real name Tinashe Gamure Munengami) was born on 28 September 1990 in Mbare, Harare. He attended Chitsere Primary and Harare High schools. He began singing at a tender age. His venture into music is not a surprise, his late uncle Culture T was his great inspiration. His uncle was a founding member of popular reggae ensemble Transit Crew.

He is one of the top dancehall musicians in the country whose music falls in the dancehall genre. He is also a lead vocalist for Transit Crew. He has worked with musicians such as Kinnah and Taurai Mandebvu. He became popular with his song ‘Minana’ which features Soul Jah Love. The song won the Best Collaboration category at the 2014 Zimdancehall Awards. He was also nominated in the Most Disciplined Artist category during that same year.
