KK

Born on 4 March 1991 in Windhoek, KK is a Namibian hip-hop musician who developed a passion for music production and writing back in high school. His desire for hi-hop music was influenced by listening to old school musicians such as Notorious Big, Ludacris, Jay Z, Ice Cube, 2Pac and Nas.

In 2008, KK released his debut single ‘We Go Hard’. He has worked with musicians such as Eclipse, Berthold and Lil D. In 2009, the artist gained fame through his ‘We Go Hard’ single which was played on South African music television station Channel O.
The song was nominated in two categories at the 2009 Sanlam-NBC Music Awards. In 2010, KK established a record label called Bermuda Records. The label is aimed at finding young talent and facilitating their development in the industry. In 2010, KK released a debut album, ‘Genesis’. Since then KK has worked and collaborated with numerous Namibian artists from different genres.
